Meet the musicians

Tim Ware

keys

Tim started listening to Jazz at an early age as his father frequently played 78 RPM Jazz records . As a result, he fell in love with Jazz swing of the 1930’s and ’40’s big band era. Benny Goodman, Woody Herman, Frank Sinatra, Harry James, Lionel Hampton among others were his earliest musical influences.

In his early twenties his musical passion shifted to the 1950’s Bebop Jazz era. He continues to listen to Miles Davis, Thelonious Monk, Oscar Peterson, Errol Garner, Charlie Parker, John Coltrane, Herbie Hancock and Keith Garrett and many others of that time.

Piano player Bill Evans remains his strongest musical influence. He strives to emulate Evans passion, feeling and intellect when he plays.

For many years Tim has gigged as a soloist or as part of a musical group, at various events, restaurants, bars, weddings and fund raisers.

Tim lives with his wife in Richardson, Texas.
